Eric Sun

MD/PhD Student

Eric is a MD-PhD student in the Tri-Institutional MD-PhD program. He is interested in epigenetics, chromatin architecture, oncogene amplification, and plasticity. Eric is originally from Virginia and graduated from Yale College with a degree in Biochemistry and Statistics. At Yale, he worked in Dr. Andrew Xiao’s lab in the Department of Genetics, elucidating mechanisms of targeted therapy resistance in EGFR-mutant LUAD. Additionally, Eric has studied DNA damage and replication with Dr. Robin Sebastian at the NCI.
