Morgan Lallo

Bioinformatics Intern
Research Technician, Epigenetics Research Innovation Lab (ERIL)

Morgan is a research technician within the Center for Epigenetics Research Innovation Lab (ERIL), where she is conducting cutting-edge epigenetic profiling assays to elucidate cancer-associated alterations of the genome. Prior to joining ERIL, she received her BS in biology with minors in biochemistry and data analysis. Her interests in computational biology were sparked after an internship back home at Pfizer, CT – this work aimed to analyze transcriptomic data through cell lines generated by The RESOLUTE consortium, utilizing guilt-by-association clustering analyses in efforts towards SLC de-orphanization. She has since applied this computational skill set to the epigenetic profiling data she is generating at ETIL, and to projects investigating genetic drivers of colon cancer plasticity.
